Why use Kettle Bell?

I am a wife and busy mommy of two beautiful children and my journey into discovering a stronger me began when my children were born. My family motivates me into being the best version of me I can be. I too tried a number of gyms and classes in order to discover something that worked for me. I learned that for me, there was not one strict method that worked. I like variety and I love learning new ways of doing things. Every coach, class, or program I have encountered has taught me something different. January 2012, 1 year after my second child I tried lifting weights for the first time and I saw results that I never new I could achieve! I became physically and mentally stronger. I had stepped out of my comfort zone and I was surprised by how I could push myself. Then in June I began a 20 week program that prepared me for my biggest mental and physical challenge to date. I had decided to train for the 2013 NLABBA Provincial Competition as a competitor in the bikini division. I committed to train for 20 consecutive weeks.! Over the summer family and friends were noticing changes in me and not just physical ones. I was happier and stronger and evidently it was inspiring to others to make changes in their own lives. In the middle of my training I decided to become a certified personal trainer myself. It was a challenging and busy time with a 1.5 year old and a 4 year old but I did it. It is possible to exercise regularly, eat healthy and to occasionally indulge. I enjoy these treats at home or at social functions when I plan for it or as I say "when I have earned it". It can be tricky and hard to stay on track but I am committed to make the most of my time on this beautiful planet with the ones I love. I want to be a role model for my children. A positive attitude attracts positive energy and focusing on the good even if we go off track is key! Life is too short I am focused on building Strength, not just for now but, for Life! Come join me!!
