Hey Everyone, join us for our bi-monthly meet-up series for private music teachers!
This series' aim is to bring together the many musicians who run studios out of their home/apartment to discuss, share and collaborate.
Each meet-up will be hosted by an experienced private teacher. The coming meeting will be hosted by private music instructor, Tiffany Pinhorn Smith.
Please leave a comment if you'd like to talk about something specific at next week's event.
When: 11am, Tuesday July 18th
Where: Jumping Bean, TD Building, Duckworth Street Entrance (at Prescott)
If you'd like to host a meet-up, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
Tiffany Pinhorn Smith holds a B.Mus in Piano Studies from Memorial University where she studied under Dr. Maureen Volk, and is a board member of the Registered Music Teacher's Association of Newfoundland and Labrador. As a teacher and musician, she is always looking for opportunities to learn and change, whether that is through taking more lessons herself, collaborating with other musicians, attending concerts and workshops, or doing her own research by reading books or blogs about music and pedagogy. Tiffany is an active member of the music community in St. John's. She is a member of the award-winning Quintessential Vocal Ensemble (QVE) under the direction of Susan Quinn, and traveled with the choir to New York City in 2014 when they were invited to give a concert at Carnegie Hall. Over the past few years, Tiffany has also participated in small vocal ensembles for many of TaDa! Events shows, including White Christmas, Our Diva's Do Christmas, and Evita. www.facebook.com/unisonmusicstudio
