Join the Town of Paradise on July 1, 2017 for our annual Memorial Day Ceremony and Canada Day Celebrations.
Memorial Day Ceremony
Time: 10:55 a.m.
Location: Paradise Town Hall (28 McNamara Drive)
The day begins with flag raising and wreath laying ceremonies in honour of the sacrifices of our Newfoundland soldiers at Beaumont Hamel during the Battle of the Somme of the First World War.
Canada Day Celebration
Time: 1:00 p.m.
Location: Paradise Park (1 Sarah Davis Way)
To celebrate Canada's 150th birthday we have a great day of events planned with activities and entertainment for the whole family. The celebration kicks off with activities in Paradise Park. There'll be Face Painting, Frontline Action Bouncers, Laser Tag, Craft Workshops, games and more!
At 2:30 p.m. we're hosting a free Canada Day BBQ, followed by an all-day outdoor concert at the new Paradise Park Bandstand! And make sure you stay for the finale - our closing Canada Day fireworks show in Paradise Park.
