Registration for this class is by donation to a local youth charity (yet to be determined)


YIN YOGA- This class is suitable for everyone. No experience in fitness or exercise is required. You will be safely guided to take things down a notch (or 10!). This is a sensation based practice which means, the "full expression" of a yin pose is the one your unique body achieves. You are guided to listen to what your needs are.

Using essential oils and music, and meditation, you will experience a series of therapeutic, deep seated stretches. This type of yoga is truly different. The more pillows, blocks and bolsters you use, the better the results will be. This class is capped at a low ratio to ensure quality instruction, sufficent space for each student as well as to ensure a sufficient supply of props for each student.
It is time to sloooow down and give your body and mind some much needed TLC.

Your mind, connective tissue, joints and fascia will thank you.

YOGA NIDRA- This class is open to anyone. No yoga or meditation experience required. Come and experience a deep guided meditation practice which creates an altered state of consciousness. We will begin with a few basic yoga poses to shake off the daily tension and then settle into a comfortable position lying on the floor. This practice has been known to allow some practitioners to relax and obtain rest up to the equvilant of 4 hours sleep!

Location: Yoga Kula Co-Op in Coakers Meadow Plaza.
